Promoting the game of Riichi Mahjong in Crimea and beyond. Join our tournaments, learn the game, and become part of the community.
CMA is an association of mahjong players on the Crimean Peninsula. We’re building a strong community and working toward official recognition.
Though not affiliated with EMA yet, we aim to host high-quality tournaments and represent Crimean players in the international mahjong scene.
We organize Riichi tournaments using RCR Rules. While unofficial, they are welcoming, inclusive, and highly competitive.
We welcome players of all levels. If you're curious or competitive, there's a seat at the table for you.
Glimpses of our tournaments and events
Mahjong grew rapidly in Crimea, leading to the first local tournament and formation of the Ukrainian Mahjong Association (UMA).
After UMA moved to Kyiv, the Crimean community formed CMA and hosted local tournaments independently.
Despite lacking formal affiliation, CMA followed EMA Riichi rules and remained active across the region.
Following EMA's 2022 suspension of certified events in Russia and Belarus, CMA re-launched its public presence.
If you'd like to contribute to our journey or collaborate with CMA, feel free to reach out. We're open to partnerships, ideas, and new members!
